my finger hurts

hello all you bloggers... i dont actually think many people see this blog but its fun writing this stuff anyways. my finger hurts. like ALOT! for my formal i got these cute acrylic nails and then eventually i took them off but i ripped them off a lil ruff and i think i may have pulled of some skin or sumthing cause now its kinda infected and its one of my main typing fingers so i am typing really slowly. so yeah.... my whine is ova.

i am in tasmania... it has been christmas i got many awesome gifts from all my friends and family and i gave awesome presents to them... is it just me or is giving presents to people like the funnest thing EVA!!! well maybe its just me so its me. (by the way i know that sentence didnt make sense) i am in tas until the end of jan... that is a really long time to be away from my own bed but oh well.

oh yea i almost forgot, i got my results back and so i know how i did in maths and english.. betta than i thought. i passed both by quite a bit. you couldnt QUITE say that i was in the top 10 or 100 or probably even top 1000 but i still did good for me. so i am happy... any more news???... nope. seeya.

today is the greatest day ive ever known (almost but not realli)

its been about a million years since my last entry.. but thats only cause i couldnt be bothered....so ANYWAY i get my HSC results today, well half of it cause i am doing half this year half next year. pretty nervous cause its my english and maths and i rekon i did pretty bad hehe... oh well i will just have to wait and see.

also today i have an assigment to do... can yoo believe that one of my school assignments are due DURING THE HOLIDAYS!!?!??!?!?!? it should be illegal. and then once i have completed that i am off to tasmania (this is all today by the way) and ill be there until near the end of january.... OMGoodness soo long.

just last week (my first week of havin my p's) my parents let me take the car for the WHOLE week, and me and my 2 friends went away for like a 'schoolies' thingo.... sooo much fun. i bingled the car a bit but oh wellz. my parents were really good about it, if i was them i would have sent me to boarding school.....OR MILITARY CAMP!!!! so american.

my life

well at the moment life has been on my side. i have had a really good past couple of weeks. earlier this year (at the same time as i was getting really excited about the prospect of me finishing school this year) i was told my teachers that it would be better for me to do yr 12 over TWO YEARS!!! after a few tears i realised that it would be a good way to go, as the boring and corney saying goes "everything happens for a reason"... all my newly made friends left last term and sp i have spent this term making new friends all over again (i am always so shy when first meeting people so this is normally quite hard) but you know what?? i have had a really good time this term, besides the fact that im in school, i have made some really aweseome friends who are heaps fun to0 muck around with and i feel really comfortable. i am looking forward to next yr and what it holds for me.
today is the last day of this year so i am really getting excited about that i will be going down to tas in like 2ish weeks to help out at my aunties resteraunt and i should be there tilll the end of jan. also in 3 days me and my two AWESOME friends (who have had quite a few cameos in my blog space) are going on a ROAD TRIP!!! hehe i just got my p's so ill be driving we are going to stray in hotel together it is going to be sooo much fun (u should see how much food we bought for one week haha) well i think this is going to be the longest post i have done yet and i hope you all dun get bored reading it...TTFN!

yesterday i went for my P's and FAILED!!! ahhh!! bit upsetting but you know stuff happens. i was close haha. um hopefully ill get them next week we'll see....fingers crossed

My life is sooo good at the moment!

wow it has been a while since i blogged, and since i blogged soooo much has happened so get ready for a long post...
we will begin with friday (last friday). One of my best friend's short films was nominated for an ATOM award and so i went along for moral support (and also the fact that there was an after party later on that night) it was soooo incredible there were alot of people there that were big in the film business like from The Australian Film Comissioners and stuff. it was pretty full on for me because making films is something that i have always wanted to do, so to have all these people around me who had acomplished the same dream that i have was pretty awesome. WANNA KNOW THE AWESOME NEWS??!? my friend won. yep was pretty excited about it all. she even thanked me in her speech! so yeah you could say i am basically famous haha ok here is a picture of my beautiful friend with her lovely ATOM award!

that was friday night (i was so tired afterwards because we drove to melbourne which took about 9 hours AHH!! hehe. saturday get up nice and early it was my beautiful aunty Lynda's wedding. it was so beautiful but also so different. Her and her new husband Shane got married in a monestry. the monks took the ceremony with incence, candles and beautiful singing... it was so different to any wedding i have been to here are a couple of photos from the wedding

ok wow this is really long but i have one more thing to talk about and that is last night i was blessed to go to the sydney u2 concert!!! the most intimate and moving concert i have ever been to. Bono has changed my view on so many things. i felt soo lucky to be there with two of my best friends and their brother. i was just overwhelmed. you can really tell that a band has made it to the big time, when they can talk about God and prayer in their concert and have the whole crowd continue to cheer for them. i LOVED it. dont worry photos are on their way just dont have them on the computer at the moment. so i will get them on here as soon as possible. ok well this was very long so i am going to go now. My internet Sucks and i got new clothes

oh my goodness... for sooo long my internet has been a bum. so i havent been able to post anything for a while. so yeah hmmmm now i have complained i am gonna talk about the exciting things that are happening in my life. well Dad got back from India last night.. we all went to meet him at the airport it was all very exciting! he bought us back some awesome pressies as well... here are the indian clothes that he bought for me and my sisters. i thought i would give you all a look at em.



another big thing that is happening in my life is that I AM GOING TO THE U2 CONCERT!! me and my two best friends are going to the u2 concert next monday and i am still not really believing it.. i mean HELLO they are surely the best band since sliced bread.
anyways i cant think of anything else so i am gonna go TTFN!

EXAMS ARE OVER

ITS ALL OVER!! i have no more exams for the rest of the year. and you know what else? i will never have to do maths again for as long as i live... i still find that hard to believe haha! maths was the last one for the year.. i actually think i did okay it was easier than normal.. however i always seem to say "yea i think i passed" and then find out i failed miserably haha. well we will just have to see. i hope the rest of anyone elses exams go well..

hmmm any other news? oh yea i got new shoes ;) but apart from that NOTHING... have a good rest of the week!

well lately like the past couple of days i have been able to get into school, cause the parents are away (dad in india and mum in tasmania), and the buses are being dumb, so yeah hmm i am staying at home for a few days. ok the weird thing is i actually want to get into school so hmm ok this was a strange post but you get that

It was all worth it..

I have never in my life studied before an exam, but this time i did...
although i hate studying, i did it this time. and after many hours of memorizing quotes with my two beautiful best friends in the local library, i felt like i was finally ready for the exam.. i feel like i aced it!!
i wrote alot more pages than i normally do and left the exam room feeling VERY proud of myself...

moral of the story: to study? or not to study?....I SAY STUDY!!

ok so on friday the big HSC exams begin... i dont know what the deal is with other states but i do know that in sydney this exam is probably one of the biggest students will ever have to do... in yr this gives us our UAI and tells us whether we are smart enough to get in university or not.... so i have been studying hard! ok i started today but still today i studied pretty hard lol....
me and my two beautiful best friends have decided that we probably should go over a few things for the exam and so today we sat in the local library and kept our heads down for a good couple of hours before rewarding ourselves with some well earned shopping!!!

Where did the Holidays go??

hmmm... seems liike yesterday i said goodbye to my school friends and hit the road for another 2 weeks holiday (sounds long but i dont actually remember most of it happening) and now, tomorrow i am going back... and to make matters worse i am going back to EXAMS!!! how much do they want to torture us?!?!?!

but hopefully i will be able to roll into the school life easily enough..atm i am talking to my friends on msn and they just told me that school isnt on tomorrow....WOOHOO!!! but i am still going to keep the last part on here so you can keep up to date lol... hmm... ok school starts on tuesday now interesting...

THE FAMILY IS STAYING AND GOING.......

Today...was a weird day...ok My Dad because of work has gone to Englandand India for 3 weeks... i am really happy for him cause he is going to be helping so many people over there.. but of course i am going to miss him like crazy, in his line of work he travels alot but i will never get used to him leaving..

and also tonight my cousin Luke from the lovely state of Melbourne dropped in a visit that was really nice cause we havent seen him for a couple of years.. we have just been catching up and making fun of him (if anyone knows australians they will know we like to make fun of people) so we have had a good time with that.... haha..so apart from my daddy leaving and my cousing going... oh and i worked out today for the first time in... um..... FOREVER, nothing much has been happening....

Hotel Pools

I just got back from a nice short stay in a hotel with the family, some friends of ours payed for us to stay there for a few days... it was so nice just chilling out with the family and getting away from the city....

The Holidays...

Hello again to all.... yes it is the holidays for all of us in New South Wales, Australia... but for us year 12's, as the teachers say "this is a time for STUDY not holidays!!!" we have our big exams coming up so its study study...msn.. study study....something else... sleep.

just as i finished typing that i heard like 3 sirens roar past my house... 2 ambulance and one coppa, now someone has either hurt some one or has been hurt themselves or both.... i hate thinking about it, and to tell you the truth you become accustomed to the wailing of sirens here in my suburb, whether that is good or bad its the truth....

hmmm i dont want to make this all bad stuff so let me think... hmm i went shopping today and i got the COOLEST formal dress!! its like dark green and flowy haha... does that explain it??? i should post a photo of it but dont worry that will come... YAY!! you will get to see my dark green flowy dress WOOHOO!!!

Hello everyone who is reading this new blog, this is my first entry so i will make it short...... i decided that i am sick of having to tell the same news to everyone hehe i am quiite lazy, so i have decided to make a bloggy thingo where if people wanna know how i am going they can just check on here for it...

I have just turned 18, and if you are an Australian you will understand how important this milestone is... By Australian being 18 allows you to drink, vote and basically makes you an adult. the sad thing about me is that I STILL dont have my driver's licence i mean hello!! these days people have their licence my 17 years old so thats a bit sad...
